Close.io
Add a Close.io action to quickly connect to your CRM and automatically lookup or sync records.
For Close.io there are 6 different actions that can be used for any record:
- Lookup Object
- Create Lead
- Update Lead
- Create Contact
- Update Contact
- Subscribe to Sequence
If you want to:
- Lookup an Object (Lead, Contact) in your Close CRM.

For Lookup Object, you need to select:
- An object type to look up
This action is particularly helpful if you want to conditionally exclude records you already have in your CRM from further enrichment.
If you want to:
- Create a new lead in Close.

For Create Lead you need to first choose the type of object you want to create (account, lead, etc). You'll see all of the properties you have in your Close.io instance below; you can map entire columns to the different Close.io properties.
Just click on the property you want to add info to, type "/", and select a column from your table.
See example below for creating a new Lead.

🚨 By default we will not create duplicate records. Check out Close.io's duplicate rules here. If you would like to create duplicates, just toggle on "Duplicate Rule Override".
This action is particularly helpful if you want to take the information you've found in Clay and instantly create corresponding leads in Close.io.
