HTTP API
Clay's HTTP API is built to help you connect your table to any tool or database by simply sending a request to a desired endpoint
Selecting the HTTP API
Navigate over to the "Apps & Enrichments" button in your current Clay table and search for the HTTP API.

Setting up your inputs
There are three required inputs for your HTTP API and one optional
1.
Method.
Enter the type of call you want to make in the receiving tool, either GET, POST, PATCH OR DELETE
2.
Endpoint.
Enter the endpoint you are sending your data to, you will find this in the receiving tool itself (for example
Salesforce
,
Airtable
,
Marketo
)
3.
Body
. Enter here the data you will be sending to the endpoint, formatted to the fields it expects to receive.
4.
Header.
Use the header to define and pass any authorization -- or other required parameter -- alongside your request.
